Hello and thank you for visiting Bee In Motion!
Youth training and development is our greatest priority. We provide students with the skills necessary to succeed in a variety of sports, swim and games by offering private instruction, small group or large group classes in addition to active and fun birthday parties. We offer you as a parent: our coaches, our methods and our support as a resource to help your child achieve both physically and socially. We feel that every child needs to have the confidence to be a participant and not a spectator playing the sports and games they love while learning valuable life skills, meeting new friends and experiencing the emotional highs and lows that come with playing and competing in sports. Supporting our children’s needs for physical activity will lead them to a lifetime of happy and healthy living developing beyond the physical body and nurturing our children’s mental, emotional and social well-being.
Bee In Motion coaches to the WHOLE CHILD.
PHYSICAL: All children develop at different rates. If your child needs to learn new skills, improve existing skills or master a particular skill - Bee In Motion will help them achieve success. A BIM coach will work closely with your child to improve skill(s) in a specific sport or a variety of skills from multiple sports. Each lesson will be tailored to the individual and improvement and development in physical skills along with fitness is the focus.
MENTAL: a child needs to demonstrate mental discipline to become proficient at a particular skill or a set of various skills. With help of a BIM coach, your child will learn from their mistakes, understand the movement of their bodies to as to why a developing skill was not successful and make adjustments to achieve success.
SOCIAL: Here at Bee In Motion, not all children get a trophy. Your child will learn about commitment, sportsmanship and leadership. Learning how to compete is extremely important for a child so that they can continue to improve and understand how to win and how to lose. Learning this behavior is essential to competing as well as social development.
FLEXIBILITY: We fully support a balanced schedule for your family’s lifestyle and will do the best we can to work out convenient time for lessons that is convenient for you and your child.
ATTENTION: There are many camps and programs where students receive little to zero individual attention or instruction. This tends to result in a lack of progress and an increase in frustration and apathy towards sports and fitness. Through 100% focus and attention, each student will understand what he or she does well, what areas need improvement and most importantly: have a clear plan to reach their goals through our consistent support.
ATTITUDE: When a student has a positive attitude, he or she is more likely to be focused and to succeed. Personal lessons give us the opportunity to be a role model as a coach and mentor as well as encourage your child to reach their potential. Your child will not only improve as an athlete but socially and mentally as well.
My name is Brian F. Loesch and I am a full-time Physical Education and Swim teacher at Columbia Grammar School in Manhattan, NY. Athletics have always been an integral part of my life and helped shape the man I am today. Sports and fitness not only improve our physical health, but builds confidence, mental focus, social and leadership skills. Growing up on Long Island, I participated in cross-country, soccer, football, wrestling, basketball, baseball and lacrosse earning varsity letters and captaining many teams. In college, I starred as an offensive/defensive midfield for Bucknell University but my dedication eventually led me to play every position on the field (outside of goalie) and to be named team captain my senior year.
In 2001, I taught second through third grade children an array of subjects in Wellington, New Zealand in the following years I coached and played lacrosse, organized clinics and provided camps for children (ages 5-18) in the United Kingdom. My various teaching experiences along with my athletic/leadership skills led me to a career in teaching physical education/swim and fueled me with a passion for coaching sports/fitness & organizing active, fun birthday parties for children, as well as running group fitness classes for adults.
I am truly grateful that I founded Bee In Motion to share my enthusiasm for sports, fitness and healthy living with children and adults. Everybody deserves the opportunity to experience the passion and personal development that only athletics and fitness can inspire, and with the alarming rate of obesity in our country, fitness education is more important than ever. Bee In Motion offers more than just a physical experience for children, we offer a lifestyle choice for you and your child.
Thank you & continue to... Bee In Motion!

We believe that teaching the fundamentals of athletics with a strong emphasis on hard work, integrity and a positive winning attitude is a critical part of a child’s mental, physical and emotional development. Athletics is a microcosm of life and as such it affords young boys and girls to learn life lessons. For the past four years, I have been privately coaching elementary, middle, and high school students in all sports. I am very excited to join Bee in Motion and I look forward for you too, to become a part of our team!
